My Prayer Life

As a subscriber to The Isolation Journals with Suleika Jauoad, last week’s email offered a prompt to write a poem about prayer. Two things, my prayer life is a hot mess and I don’t write poetry. So, now that I’ve gotten those two things off my chest, I chat about why this was a challenge, I share the poem I wrote, and I express what I learned from the experience.
