Let the Adventure Begin with Chris Denker

Happiness or Contentment?

Chris Denker Season 1 Episode 163

In this episode, I chat about a debate a friend and I had over which was more important, happiness or contentment. I explore what I discovered when I figured out that contentment is key.

I chat about contentment in four ways:

  • Contentment is stable, while happiness is fleeting.
  • Contentment provides inner peace.
  • Contentment provides a deeper sense of self-satisfaction.
  • Happiness is a byproduct of contentment.

If you're new to the podcast, thanks for taking 10 minutes or so out of your day to listen to a 57-year-old Midwesterner chat about topics that come top of mind when it comes to adventures in physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual health.

I hope you'll stick around. And, if you're a friend of the podcast already, thank you so much for your continued support. I'm so grateful for you!
